Italian lifestyle brand Fedon has bolstered its presence in Italian travel retail with the opening of a new shop at Milan Malpensa Terminal 1.
Located in Departures, the store started trading on 17 July and is said to symbolise Fedon’s concept of passion for the product. The store features products that are geared to the needs of the traveller with an emphasis on craftsmanship and rich colours.
Fedon’s stores are said to offer a coherent layout, separated into three areas: bags, accessories and travel.
Fedon expects to have 50 stores in the next four to five years |
Fedon Group President Callisto Fedon commented: “At the moment we would like to give priority to areas that are highly frequented by travellers. During 2015 we have opened stores at Orio al Serio (BG), Ciampino, Linate and Malpensa, which will soon be joined by Naples. The plan is to reach 50 stores in the next four to five years.”
In other news, the brand has recently developed a new Marco Polo cabin trolley which incorporates Fedon’s new combined travel system of manoeuvrability of a cabin trolley and capacity of a large suitcase. Marco Polo is designed to hold a full change of clothing for five days of travel and features a garment bag compartment, complete with hanger and removable, multi-functional pockets for clothing, underclothes and accessories.
