
AUSTRIA. Local souvenir store Senses of Austria has opened a new flagship store in the Vienna International Airport Terminal 2 shopping plaza.
The 250sq m shop is the retailer’s fifth location at the airport, and its opening coincides with Senses of Austria’s tenth anniversary at the Viennese travel hub. Operator Sunday’s Handels is owned by entrepreneur Guntram Fessler, who is Europe’s largest souvenir dealer.
The store offers a wide variety of Austrian products, including sweets, pumpkin seed oil and local wines, as well as shirts, handicrafts and accessories, among others.

Vienna Airport Joint CEO and COO Julian Jäger said: “With the new Senses of Austria branch, we are expanding the range of local products and brands at Vienna Airport for a new large souvenir shop.
“With Guntram Fessler and his Sunday’s Handels, we have had a very successful relationship for ten years and we are happy about this new highlight. With this, passengers can take a piece of Austria with them on their trip.”
