Finlandia 101 Vodka is launched in Russia’s key airports

Finlandia’s duty free exclusive line extension, Finlandia 101, is being launched in Moscow’s largest airports this month in collaboration with three retailers – Port Alliance and Duty Free Partners in Sheremetyevo and Travel Retail Domodedovo in Domodedovo.

Branding material will be placed on security gates and light boxes, with banners and posters with the message “˜Intense Adventure. Start yours today!’ on display throughout the airports. Finlandia brand ambassadors will be on hand in several shops in Sheremetyevo while sampling will be available at Domodedovo.

Brown-Forman distributes Finlandia in travel retail. The company’s Global Travel Retail Marketing Director Tim Young commented: “With this promotion we are trying to bring Finlandia “˜specialness’ to life and show different brand facets, as well as attract and obtain new consumer groups.

“Finlandia 101 is a unique product that delivers a distinctive bold taste that especially appeals to the masculine drive for adventure. It brings premium quality to traditional male drinking occasions, and uniquely helps consumers express their individuality and independence,” he said.

Finlandia 101 (50.5% abv) is available exclusively in the travel retail and duty free market. Further launches in the Russian market are planned for later this year.
