NORWAY. Passenger traffic for ferry operator Fjord Line increased +6.2% year-on-year in July to 98,300.
While traffic on the UK-Norway route decreased -3.0%, a high increase of +10% was achieved on the Denmark route. About half of those travelling to Denmark were Norwegians.
The ferry company posted an increase of +4.3% year-on-year in passenger traffic during the first half of 2004.
The Danish jewellery and eyewear brand has launched with BC Ferries, introducing its travel retail-exclusive collection within fashion departments onboard five ferries.
The revised content covers insights such as the growing demand for travel retail exclusives, alongside the challenges posed by reduced footfall and shifts in passenger demographics, particularly the decline in high-spending Chinese travellers.
Today’s selection features the retail debut of Global Drinks Ltd-owned Misaka in Macau, both with Avolta at Macau International Airport and King Power at one of the Special Administrative Region’s ferry terminal stores.
