Estée Lauder has added Double Wear 3 Minute Priming Moisture Mask and The Smoother Universal Protecting Primer to its range of primers. Both will be on-counter in travel retail locations worldwide from June.
The launch of the new products means that there is now a choice of four finishes and textures of primer to choose from: smooth, illuminated, matte, evenly hydrated.
The new primers, which feature technologically advanced formulas, aim to prep skin to provide a ‘perfect’ canvas for the application of make-up. They can also be used on their own to give the complexion a boost.
Double Wear 3 Minute Priming Moisture Mask has been formulated with algae and cucumber extract to calm, soothe and hydrate the skin. The oil-free mask, which is claimed to provide an ‘instant’ radiance boost, is suitable for all skin types and leaves an even and smooth complexion on which to apply make-up easily.
The Smoother Universal Protecting Primer is also suitable for all skin types and can be worn alone or under make-up. Featuring skin-softening apricot essence, the lightweight primer is said to soften and smooth while “optically perfecting” the skin so that the appearance of pores and imperfections is diminished.
The two new products join the existing range of primers:
The Illuminator Radiant Perfecting Primer + Finisher, designed for normal combination skin and dry skin. The Illuminator contains hydrators along with nourishing vitamin E, rice bran extract and shea butter and is said to smooth and brighten the complexion.
The Mattifier Shine Control Perfecting Primer + Finisher is oil-free and targeted at normal combination skin and oily skin. By controlling oil and reducing shine, it provides a matte base on which to apply make-up. It is also claimed to help minimise the appearance of pores, fine lines and imperfections.
