‘Flemingo Privilege’ customer loyalty programme introduced at Mumbai Duty Free

INDIA. Flemingo Travel Retail has launched a new customer loyalty programme through its Mumbai Duty Free stores at Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.

‘Flemingo Privilege’ aims to bring “a greater value to the shopping experience” to Mumbai Duty Free, with a range of benefits on purchases including accrual and redemption of points, loyalty exclusive offers and other special services for airport shoppers.

Shoppers at Mumbai Duty Free can now register for Flemingo Privilege, a new customer loyalty programme introduced by Flemingo International

There are three membership tiers in Flemingo Privilege – Red (basic), Silver (intermediate) and Platinum (premium). The qualifying amount for enrolment into the programme is INR 7,500 (US$100), which unlocks tier Red.

A Red Tier member generates one Flemingo Privilege point for every INR100 (US$1.35) spent, with every 100 points accumulated equivalent to INR100 in value. Loyalty points are awarded at the time of transactions and can be redeemed after allowing for accounts to be updated within 24 hours. A minimum of 200 points must be accumulated before the rewards can be activated.

The Flemingo Privilege initiative is off to a flying start, with over 100 enrolments in the first 24 hours

Similar conditions apply to the higher tiers, with Silver and Platinum members gaining 1.15 points and 1.25 points per INR100 spent, respectively. These higher tiers can be reached after a certain amount of qualifying spend or points accumulation.

As part of the launch offer, every loyalty customer can enjoy an additional 5% discount on their next transaction over and above the accrual and redemption of points.

The terms and conditions of Flemingo Privilege note that some heavily-discounted products may not be eligible for the accumulation of points.

Flemingo Travel Retail operates duty free shops at 11 international airports across India.
