FRANCE/ INTERNATIONAL. “Welcome back to business” – that’s the message from Tax Free World Association (TFWA) as it encourages 2021 TFWA World Exhibition & Conference delegates this October to adopt a clear and focused approach to kickstarting recovery in travel retail.
The association’s website highlights essentials to ensure the flagship exhibition is “more productive than ever”. These range from a shorter, more compact programme to revised opening hours and ‘need to know’ details.

TFWA encourages website visitors to check out its updated list of exhibitors to discover the brands and companies which are “driving the recovery”. They include Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail, which is one of many highlighted on the association’s Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn pages.

TFWA has also used social media to highlight its plans to secure sponsorship for a new bar in Cannes. The Carlton Beach location will offer a new after-work meeting point, from 4.30pm to 9pm, 25 to 27 October.
As reported, TFWA has underlined the extent to which it and the city of Cannes are endeavouring to ensure a safe and healthy environment for the world event.
“From the point of arrival, safety and hygiene are paramount,” TFWA said on a LinkedIn post and noted that exhibition venue, the Palais des Festivals, has passed a rigorous 100-point check.
