Former Heinemann Americas CEO Nadine Heubel joins Harper Dennis Hobbs

UK. London-based strategic retail consultancy Harper Dennis Hobbs (HDH), part of the Newmark Group, has appointed former Heinemann Americas CEO Nadine Heubel to head its North American operations amid an expansion of the company’s travel retail division.

The much-respected Heubel joins as Senior Managing Director and will be responsible for leading the travel retail team’s North American expansion strategy.

HDH said that its travel retail team is building on over a decade’s experience of supporting retail and hospitality brands in travel retail and developing international airport commercial offers by now focusing on growth in the US and Canada.

Heubel spent 12 years at German fashion and accessories brand Hugo Boss, culminating in a successful stint as Global Head of Travel Retail, before moving to Gebr. Heinemann in 2008 as Head of Category Management – Distribution.

She then became Sales Director Inflight & Catering before being named Heinemann Americas CEO in May 2016, a position she held until March 2022.

HDH claimed that in the last year its travel division has supported clients to secure 27 new international airport stores; 141 cruise ship openings; over 45 new airport and airline listings; as well as working with four international airports to help shape and create new commercial strategies.
