CARIBBEAN. Tairo International, the specialist fragrances distributor, has announced its appointment to distribute Lancaster Group fragrances in the Caribbean from 1 January 2004. Tairo will handle Davidoff, Joop!, Chopard, the Lancaster sun range and the latest hit fragrance Still from Jennifer Lopez, the follow up from Glow. In addition the company will continue its distribution of Kenneth Cole and Marc Jacobs, which were purchased by Lancaster earlier this year.
Tairo already distributes P&G Prestige Beauté, Lolita Lempicka and Hermès in the region. This month the company is coordinating the regional launch for Boss Intense by Hugo Boss (P&G), which will be followed by a “re-launch” in the form of a promotional push in February, in time for Valentines.
Recently Lolita Lempicka, through Tairo, installed new gondolas at Pama Duty Free Cozumel and Dorian’s in Tijuana, with more installations due in the coming months.
As part of a drive to increase its efficiency and service, Tairo has recently moved to new, larger offices in Bay Harbor, Florida. The company promises many further changes “in order to continue and increase support for customers and brands” throughout the Caribbean region.
