Frankfurt Airport launches Italian-themed promotion across retail and food & beverage operations – 23/03/09

An Alfa Romeo Spider is the top prize in Frankfurt Airport’s spring promotion


GERMANY. Frankfurt Airport has launched a major spring sales promotion that runs from now until the end of May. The promotion, which carries a strong Italian theme, is being supported by concessionaires across all of the airport’s 222 shops, bars and restaurants.

Under the slogan “Shop for Dolce Vita – Win an Alfa Spider”, Frankfurt Airport is offering passengers and visitors the chance to win an Alfa Romeo Spider car in a prize draw. The car is featured at several locations in Terminals 1 and 2.

The campaign also highlights special offers linked to the Italian lifestyle theme, ranging from exclusive designer fashion pieces in stores to Mediterranean culinary delicacies in the F&B outlets.

The promotion is being communicated through advertising media both inside and outside the terminals, via ad agency Saatchi & Saatchi Frankfurt.
