GERMANY. With the opening of three new stores – travel bag concept Essentials, the new “˜k’ bookstore and lifestyle outlet Jack Wolfskin – the shopping mall at Frankfurt Terminal One is virtually complete.
As we reported previously, the three new stores opened last month. They complement the Shopping Boulevard, which opened in 2006 and features brands such as Hugo Boss, Burresi and Strenesse, and the row of shops in Hall A with stores such as H. Stern and Pfüller Kids Concept.
Essentials, operated by Airport Boutiques Peter Hillen GmbH, is designed with shiny, black-and-white marbled flooring, black-coated shelves and light-coloured wood for contrast. The multi-brand store specializes in travel bags and includes the brands Samsonite Black Label, Rimova, Longchamp, Bugatti, The Bridge, Offermann and Victorinox.
Jack Wolfskin has opened its first airport outlet, and offers functional clothing, shoes and equipment for outdoor spots, travel and leisure. The main focus is on all-weather jackets, travel bags and accessories, and travel apparel with integrated insect or UV protection. Summer casuals round out the offer.
