Porsche Design has released its 2019 Spring/Summer eyewear range, which is manufactured and distributed under licence by Rodenstock.
The brand claims to continue a tradition of redefining cult spectacles in a collection which combines sporty and stylish with purist design.
The Colour of the Year features the world’s first sunglasses with replaceable lenses in Neomint, a colour which is limited to 2,000 pieces worldwide. Porsche Design regards this style as a collector’s item.
The brand has refreshed Sidewall, which it introduced in 2014, to combine strong materials in a functional design providing protection against wind and sunlight. It is available in three colours: black, gold and grey.
Air Intake is inspired by the automobile industry. It features a lasered Porsche Design logo, adjustable nose pads and temple ends made of slip-resistant elastromer. Air Intake is available in black with grey-blue mirrored lenses and grey with olive-coloured mirrored lenses and ‘racing red’ temple ends.
Porsche Design presents its Aviator in flexible titanium.

The Spring/Summer 2019 range will be highlighted at this month’s Summit of the Americas in Orlando (Booth 719).
