Claudine Kawiak: a long track record in the luxury goods business |
CHINA. Global and Beijing International Company (Gabico) Ltd has appointed Claudine Kawiak to develop the luxury goods business for its new supply contract at Beijing Capital Airport’s new Terminal Three, which opens in 2008.
As revealed by The Moodie Report on 23 March, Gabico signed a ten-year deal with Beijing Capital Airport Commercial & Trading Co Ltd to source, purchase and supply all travel retail goods in the terminal.
Kawiak has spent 20 years in the luxury goods business. She worked with brands such as Giorgio Armani and Helen Rubinstein and in the 1990s she helped develop the Hermitage company in Russia, distributor of Richemont Group products, as well as L’Oréal, Shiseido, Christofle, Lalique and Calvin Klein.
