GCG wins food & beverage and lounge concession at Princess Juliana International Airport, St. Maarten

ST. MAARTEN. GCG has been awarded a contract to operate five new dining locations and a VIP Lounge at Princess Juliana International Airport.

Florida-based GCG provides a range of specialised solutions for airlines, airports and other business enterprises in 21 countries across the Caribbean and Latin America. It operates more than 40 dedicated airport food & beverage units within the two regions.

The facilities will be integrated into the St. Maarten gateway’s recently renovated, mega yacht-inspired food court in departures.

“These establishments cater to all travellers, whether they’re in the mood for a quick snack, a hearty meal or classic comfort food,” said GCG Head of Airport Concessions and Restaurants Daniel Muñoz.

“We craft dining experiences tailored to each location by merging proprietary, international and local brands, drawing inspiration from St. Maarten’s rich culinary tradition.

“We aim to become the preferred partner, aligning visions to support the airport in becoming best-in-class and developing an outstanding concessions programme with the best brands, designs and customer service.”

The dining destinations will introduce Caribbean Bowls, showcasing vibrant flavours from various Caribbean regions. Wok to Fly will offer an authentic Asian culinary journey, allowing guests to select their ingredients and watch chefs prepare their dishes on the spot.

Bistronomique will honour timeless French cuisine, serving dishes that resonate with classic French flavours.

Two Wendy’s locations, situated pre- and post-security, along with a VIP Lounge, will enhance the dining experience. The VIP Lounge will feature a curated selection of popular foods for international travellers within an environment offering what GCG described as “state-of-the-art” amenities.  ‍
