CHINA. Global Premium Duty Free (GDF) Plaza joined hands with Swiss skincare brand Cellcosmet and Hilton Haikou Hotel to launch an experiential collaboration in Haikou running from 20 May to 30 June.
The partnership offers consumers a range of exclusive benefits and experiences, including special rooms for GDF Plaza members, afternoon tea and a spa.
GDF Plaza stated that this collaboration aims to attract consumers interested in beauty, fashion and leisure by providing exclusive luxury experiences.
According to the group, guests staying in the Executive King Room at Hilton Haikou Hotel during the event period will receive a complimentary Cellcosmet experience kit featuring the brand’s iconic products.

Guests staying at the hotel during this collaborative campaign can present their hotel booking information at the Cellcosmet counter in GDF Plaza stores to enjoy exclusive time-limited offers and facial treatments.
According to GDF Plaza, the exclusive afternoon tea will strengthen strategic cooperation between the groups to enhance brand awareness and exposure through various channels.
Blending skincare with gourmet food, the afternoon tea features accents of Cellcosmet’s classic red theme and is inspired by the brand’s product design. Customers purchasing the Exclusive Afternoon Tea will also receive a Cellcosmet gua sha facial tool and skincare experience kit.

For the first time, GDF Plaza VIP Lounge joined forces with Cellcosmet to launch three facial treatments (Cellcosmet Purifying & Brightening Facial, Cellcosmet Revitalizing Custom Facial, and Cellcosmet Luxury Revitalizing Custom Facial). The products use the brand’s latest CytoPep™ bioactive ingredients and CellControl™ technology to deliver authentic luxury Swiss skincare experiences.
Until 30 June, shoppers making in-store purchases of a certain amount at GDF Plaza stores can redeem a Cellcosmet facial treatment voucher for the exclusive spa. A new Cellcosmet Revitalizing Hand Treatment is also on offer.

GDF Plaza said that through this three-way collaboration (duty free + brand + hotel) the group will continue to explore new collaborative marketing models for luxury brands, suppliers and high-end hotels in Hainan, fostering symbiotic relationships with travel retail brands.
