GDF Plaza launches WeChat mini-program

CHINA. As it nears its first anniversary, Global Premium Duty Free (GDF) Plaza has launched its first WeChat mini-program.

GDF members who have visited Hainan in the past 180 days are now eligible for shopping within the mini-program, which was launched on 1 January as a convenient and hassle-free mode of shopping.

To celebrate the launch of the mini-program as well as its first anniversary later this month (GDF Plaza opened in Haikou Mova Mall on 31 January 2021), GDF is running a flash sale on products with discounts of up to -50% off.

Special offers include Gucci Bloom 100ml perfume 100ml at CNY565.2 (US$88.60); Jo Malone Grapefruit cologne for CNY309 (US$48.45); Tom Ford Rose Prick perfume (CNY1,245/US$195); Kérastase Specifique 2-Step Beauty Ritual for Hair Loss set (CNY364/US$57); Bobbi Brown lipstick (CNY155/US$24.30), and Estée Lauder Revitalizing Supreme+ Global Anti-Aging Power Cream at CNY430.50 (US$66).

Discount vouchers of CNY20 (US$3.15) off CNY400 (US$62.72) purchases and CNY50 (US$7.84) off CNY1,000 (US$156.80) are also being distributed.

Super deals on select bestsellers are offered, including a Filorga soothing & glowing effect skincare set at CNY328.80 (US$51.55); Terre d’Hermès at CNY599.20 (US$93.95); MAC lipstick at CNY91 (US$14.27), and L’Occitane body cream at CNY270 (US$42.35).
