Gebr Heinemann names Oliver Gottschling as Sales Director, Inflight & Catering as John Baumgartner departs

Gebr Heinemann’s Inflight & Catering sales division has been seeking to innovate and find new ways to partner with airlines during the crisis, with a major home delivery project among the solutions (more below)

GERMANY. Gebr Heinemann has named Oliver Gottschling as Sales Director, Inflight & Catering, effective from 1 August. He replaces John Baumgartner who will leave to pursue interests outside travel retail from the end of July.

The company thanked Baumgartner for his five years of service, in which he “built up strong and reliable partnerships between Gebr Heinemann and our partners and customers”.

Gottschling has worked for the company for over ten years, including as Head of Category Management LTC for the past two. Before that he was Head of Sales in the Cruise & Ferries department and also worked as Head of Market Management/Retail.

Heinemann said it was confident that Gottschling would take forward the strong working cooperation between the Inflight & Catering team and the company’s partners.
