IRELAND/INTERNATIONAL. Aer Rianta International (ARI) has unveiled its annual Valentine’s Day campaign, which features a series of gifting stations in stores throughout its global network.

The colourful campaign runs across categories including perfumes & cosmetics, confectionery, wines & spirits and fashion & accessories, with a wide range of products on offer, including travel retail exclusives. It introduces characters such as Little Piggy Cupid and Teddy Bear Cupid to travel audiences.

The Valentine’s Day campaign, sub-titled ‘Gift them off their feet’, features in-store and online. Shoppers can also take advantage of Shop & Click and Click & Collect services.

The Cyprus Duty Free campaign blends a physical and digital promotion with a series of events and competitions. Below, the campaign comes to life in Muscat, Montenegro, Beirut and Auckland.

ARI Global Head of Marketing Laura Toner said: “Valentine’s Day is a great time of year to shine a light on our many gifting options available to our customers both in-store and online. As it’s the first universal calendar occasion to gift since the festive season our customers look forward to finding special treats for loved ones, friends and themselves.”

In Cyprus, from 11 February, customers will be serenaded by a duo of violinists playing live tunes to mark the occasion. CTC-ARI Cyprus Duty Free will also present complimentary fresh flowers and glasses of sparkling wine.

CTC-ARI Cyprus Duty Free Retail & Marketing Manager Toni McDonald said: “We are delighted to welcome our customers and we hope they enjoy the special treats and surprises that we have in store for them. It is the perfect time of year to gift someone special or indeed themselves and we want to show our love too.”

CTC-ARI Cyprus Duty Free is running a Valentine’s Day social media competition and asking customers to relive their favourite romantic trip to be in with a chance of winning prizes.
