UK. With business continuing to expand for gifts and plush toy specialist Russ Berrie, the company has expanded its travel retail team with two new appointments just announced.
Emma French joins the company as duty free/travel retail merchandiser, offering direct marketing support to Russ Berrie’s retail partners in the UK and Europe. Particular emphasis will be placed on work with the ferry sector.
Emma’s background includes merchandising roles in the domestic market with High Street multiples.
Sara Brown has joined Russ Berrie as an account manager trainee, aiming to take over specific travel retail accounts in Northern Europe. She has previous experience in account management with a language services company.
“These two new appointments reflect Russ Berrie’s commitment to its retail partners to offer them individually the best possible service as our total account base grows,” said director duty free Garry Stoner. “It is very satisfactory that in a difficult economic environment, Russ Berrie has continued to grow its business.”
