Giraffe debuts new brand extension at Dubai International Terminal 3

UAE. Emirates Leisure Retail (ELR) has opened Giraffe Stop at Dubai International Terminal 3 Concourse B, designed to complement the existing Giraffe restaurant at Concourse A.

The new 600sq ft outlet at Concourse B offers dine-in and take-away options, 24 hours a day.

Designed with vibrant colours and a travel-themed adorning the walls, the casual restaurant features a 25-cover seating area and a long sharing table, as well as free Wi-Fi.

Emirates Leisure Retail Group CEO Andrew Day said: “We are proud to be launching the latest addition to our giraffe family, Giraffe Stop at Dubai International Airport. Offering passengers the great taste of giraffe in an exciting new dine-in and take-away format is testament to our commitment to our successful partnership with Giraffe and of course, continually offering our customers world-class experiences.”

Giraffe Head of Franchise Sam Anstey added: “Through our existing successful partnership with ELR, we are delighted to bring Giraffe Stop to the UAE. This quick service restaurant is perfectly suited to the airport environment – it’s not just grab and go, diners can Stop and enjoy their meal as they are waiting to board their plane, or of course enjoy it on-the-go.”

The all-day menu offers items from early morning through to dinner time. For breakfast, passengers can choose from organic porridge; “˜brekkie baps’ filled with a fresh herb and cheese omelette with smoky tomato relish; a breakfast burrito packed with beef chorizo, eggs, jalapenos; and a chipotle salsa, or pick up a freshly baked croissant from the counter.

From brunch through to dinner, the menu features a range of toasties such as The Vintage Tuna melt as well as hot wraps including the Meatball Smash, Just Falafel in a spicy tomato sauce, or the Jalapeno Chicken with adobe sauce, jalapeno relish, roasted red pepper and melted gruyere.

Other items include the all-new American style Classic Beef Hot Dog served with sweet mustard onions; the Rancho Beef Chilli with chipotle beef chilli and cheddar; and Stopʼs Hot Pots including Vietnamese Curry, Thai Green Chicken or the vegetarian 3 Bean Chilli and Butternut Squash, served with sour cream, cheddar cheese and brown rice.

For dessert, milkshakes are available in a choice of flavours: Vanilla, Strawberry, Chocolate, Salted Caramel, Peanut Butter, Rocky Road or Cookies.

On the beverage menu are a variety of coffees, including the Tosca cappuccino, topped with crushed amaretti biscuits. Those who prefer a healthy drink can order a freshly squeezed juice: the Super Stamina made with carrot, beetroot, orange, lime and jalapeno; Canyon Greens with apple, spinach, celery, lemon and ginger; or the Woodstock made with apple, pear and orange.

Together with the new Giraffe Stop, Emirates Leisure Retail also runs the franchise for the existing Giraffe restaurant in Concourse A Dubai International Airport Terminal 3 which opened in January 2013. Giraffe Stop is a relatively new brand extension from Giraffe, marking its first foray into railway station dining at King’s Cross station in London back in June 2012.
