SWITZERLAND. Luxury perfumes specialist Gisada has teamed up with Avolta for a high-profile activation at Zurich Airport, running throughout June.
Gisada is highlighting three of its prestige fragrances in the promotional area: Ambassador Men, Ambassador Intense and Titanium (released in April).
These products are also available on Gisada’s dedicated shelves at seven duty-free locations with Zürich Duty Free: two in Terminal A, two in Arrivals and the rest across Levels 1 and 2.
Brand ambassadors are on-site every week from Thursday to Saturday to help travellers sample different scents using testers. They are also distributing teaser samples (1.5ml) as part of the promotional activity.
Gisada is offering gifts with purchase such as a travel-size perfume (10ml), shower gels (100ml) and candles from its luxury fragrances line (315g, worth US$133). These are given according to spend.

In recent years the Swiss fragrance house has recorded significant growth in both domestic and travel retail markets. It has maintained its position as a bestselling brand on Douglas, a premium beauty retailer in Europe.
The company is also listed with Import Parfumerie in Switzerland and Marionnaud, while Nobilis distributes the luxury line in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Gisada entered travel retail last year in partnership with Avolta at Zurich and Basel Mulhouse Freiburg airports, with Lagardère at Geneva Airport, and with Gebr. Heinemann (implementation in progress) in Germany and Hungary.
The brand is present at Budapest Ferenc Liszt International, Frankfurt and Vienna airports. Gisada is available in diplomatic and duty-free shops across Germany, the UK, Netherlands, Poland, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, Hungary, Italy, Romania and the UAE.
Gisada also has a strong inflight presence with listings onboard Lufthansa, Swiss, Emirates, Edelweiss, Ethiopian, easyJet, airBaltic, Eurowings, Virgin Atlantic, Condor, Austrian and RwandAir. ✈
