Global Drinks Ltd (GDL), the fast-growing Hong Kong company founded by experienced drinks executive Harry Kartasis, has appointed Suzanne Yiu to the key position of Supply Chain Manager. Ms Yiu replaces Terence Lee, effective this month.
Yiu brings valuable experience across supply chain management, having previously worked for local Hong Kong distributor Jebsen Beverage, managing its supply chain team, both local and international, moving in excess of 4,000 containers on an annual basis.
Founder & Managing Director Kartasis told The Moodie Davitt Report: “Suzanne Yiu’s experience leading several cross-functional projects will be an asset across the GDL supply chain platform.
“Replacing Terence Lee, who has moved into a family business, was a difficult task as the supply chain poses our biggest challenge as a business with increased costs, and ETA’s that are changing daily.
“Our customers reply heavily on us delivering a first-class logistics platform, particularly for Hainan Island where we specialise, leading up to the holiday season and CNY. So I am delighted we have found someone who can bring an extra dimension and skill-set to the GDL Business.”
