Nearly 90 restaurants will participate in HMSHost’s Airport Restaurant Month promotion in May as the company takes the event to Europe.
Special dishes will be added to menus across restaurants in more than 50 North American and European airports.
HMSHost first launched the culinary event in North America in October 2014.

For the first time, three European airports will take part: Brussels Airport, Zürich Airport, and Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport in Rome, with specially-created menus at restaurants operated by HMSHost’s parent company Autogrill.
“HMSHost created the first-of-its-kind monthly holiday because one week isn’t enough to celebrate our culinary creativity,” said HMSHost Vice President of Marketing Atousa Ghoreichi. “We are thrilled that the success of Airport Restaurant Month at North American airports has resulted in a global launch this May where travellers in select airports in Europe can now experience this month-long culinary event.”
Each restaurant location can customise its Airport Restaurant Month menu based on specially created dishes by HMSHost’s corporate executive chef and culinary team. Guests will receive a choice of entrée, accompanied by several side dishes.
