UAE. GMG Consumer has partnered with Dubai Airports to unveil the Géant store at Dubai International Airport Terminal 2. It offers international ready-made dishes, bakery products, sandwiches and a wide range of other essential groceries, snacks, coffee and drinks.
The 140sq m landside express outlet carries the name of the Groupe Casino-owned French supermarket chain, to which GMG Consumer holds exclusive rights to expand with stores across most of the Middle East region.
The store also has a small seating area with capacity for eight people.
Dubai Airports Vice President – Commercial Concession Management Alison Macdonald told The Moodie Davitt Report: “This Géant opening in T2 arrivals brings value-driven variety and convenience while ensuring quality backed by a renowned international brand.”
In a LinkedIn post, GMG Foods Senior Vice President Abdullah Abdullati commented: “I’m thrilled to announce the opening of GMG’s brand-new Géant store at Dubai Airport Terminal 2 arrivals.
