GMR Hyderabad International Airport to divest Hyderabad Duty Free Retail

INDIA. GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited (GHIAL) has announced, via The Moodie Report, its intention to divest its 100% equity in Hyderabad Duty Free Retail Limited (HDFRL).

The airport company revealed its plans in an advertisement on The Moodie Report.com’s home page.

Here is that wording:

There is an opportunity for investment in the equity of Hyderabad Duty Free Retail Limited (HDFRL), a wholly owned subsidiary of GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited (GHIAL). GHIAL proposes to divest its 100% equity in HDFRL.

DFRL is presently owning, operating and maintaining the duty free retail outlets at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at, Shamshabad, Hyderabad.

Interested parties meeting the following pre-qualification criterion may contact @ DF.HYD@gmrgroup.in, on or before the 27th February, 2012, along with proof of meeting the said criterion.

Pre-qualification criterion for the interested party :

1. Presently should be operating duty free outlets in a minimum of two international airports, with one such duty free operations in an international airport in Asia

AND

2. Collective gross annual revenue generated from the operations of duty free shops at these two international airports should be a minimum of USD 50 million as per its latest audited financial statements”
