BELGIUM. Godiva Chocolatier is introducing the Sharing Collection designed to celebrate time enjoyed with family and friends at home.
Described as an ideal gift or self-purchase product for international travel retail, the Sharing Collection offers a choice of biscuits, coffee, chocolate flakes and spreads. All products are presented in packaging that reflects the movement of aroma from warm products, Godiva said.
The Sharing Collection will be one of Godiva’s new highlights at the upcoming TFWA World Exhibition (Stand number: Yellow F33). It will be available to international travel retail from 5 November, 2007.
Biscuits: Godiva introduces two new flavours to its Biscuit selection; Dark Truffle Heart and Hazelnut Praliné. The Dark Truffle Heart capitalises on the trend towards dark chocolate, offering a dark chocolate filled with smooth truffle cream on top of a heart-shaped biscuit, while the Hazelnut Praliné, with silky chocolate hazelnut cream set between two delicious chocolate covered biscuits, replaces the Hazelnut Belgique.
These two new flavours join the existing Godiva Signature and Raspberry Premiere and are all available as a 100g monopack resealable box, along with a new modern shaped tin box (370g) containing seven flavours. Developed specially for travel retail is a biscuit multi-pack: a combination three-pack of Godiva Signature, Raspberry Premiere and Dark Truffle Heart (300g).

Coffee and Chocolate: Godiva offers a selection of coffees to accompany the biscuits; Premium Roast, Hazelnut and a new flavour Chocolate Cream, which aims to emphasise Godiva’s experience in chocolate. Presented in a new, stand-up resealable 284g bag which allows more products on the shelf, the design aims to reflect the aroma of the product.
Flakes and spreads: Godiva has included Chocolate Flakes 50% and Chocolate Spreads within its Sharing Collection. Chocolate Flakes are designed to sprinkle on top of cappuccino or hot chocolate and can be used in baking. Chocolate Spreads in Dark Chocolate or Hazelnut can be used on bread, cakes and biscuits. In both cases, pack design offers stronger brand recognition and reflects the premium nature of the product, according to the company.
