AUSTRALIA. Niche fragrance brand Goldfield & Banks has partnered with Lotte Duty Free in a high-profile promotion showcasing its latest fragrance at Melbourne Airport.
Ingenious Ginger is the latest addition to the brand’s Native Collection, a range that promotes native Australian botanicals. The promotion is running until 29 June.
Ingenious Ginger is centred around the Ginger Lily flower that grows in the Atherton Tablelands in the far north of Queensland.
The scent is an uplifting citrus fragrance that blends mandarin, spicy ginger, white floral and warm amber notes.
Goldfield & Banks was created in 2016, when during a trip to Australia its founder Dimitri Weber realised that no Australian perfume brand existed.
He first launched in Europe and in the US in stores such as Barney’s (2018), Bloomingdale’s and Selfridges (2020) before focusing on Australia where the brand is sold in Sephora. As reported, Goldfield & Banks made its travel retail debut in Australian travel retail in 2022. The brand is now available with Dufry, Lagardère Travel Retail, Gebr. Heinemann and Lotte Duty Free in Australasia.

Goldfield & Banks was also recently featured in The Moodie Davitt Report Niche Beauty special edition in April 2023.
Commenting on the partnership, a representative from Goldfield & Banks said: “We’re proud to debut our partnership with Lotte Duty Free at Melbourne International Airport, just in time for the launch of our latest fragrance in the Native Collection: Ingenious Ginger.” ✈
