UAE. Swiss chocolatier Goldkenn teamed with Dubai Duty Free to unveil its Gold Unicorn – a plush toy complemented by 150g of Swiss milk chocolate coins. The toy was introduced at Dubai International Airport on 16 October and it is currently exclusive to the airport.
The Gold Unicorn was first showcased at the recent TFWA World Exhibition (1-5 October) in Cannes, and it is now a permanent part of the Goldkenn collection. The launch with Dubai Duty Free marks the first step in a worldwide distribution plan.
This soft and huggable toy is crafted with shimmering gold accents, matching the colour of the chocolate coins individually wrapped in gold foil. Each chocolate coin is made with the brand’s signature Swiss milk chocolate.
Dubai Duty Free Senior Vice President for Purchasing Sharon Beecham said: “It is with great excitement that Dubai Duty Free unveils the Goldkenn Gold Unicorn at Dubai International Airport.
“This delightful new plush toy, together with its delicious Swiss chocolate coins, has earned its place as a cherished addition to the Goldkenn collection. This reinforces our longlasting and successful collaboration with Goldkenn.”
Goldkenn is renowned for its signature Goldbar, and its liqueur collection made with top spirits brands, such as the Jack Daniels Tennessee Fire chocolate bar.
According to Goldkenn, its recipes contain Rainforest Alliance-certified cocoa. The brand uses cacao butter as a substitute for palm oil to ensure its chocolate is “authentic, natural, and respectful of the environment.” ✈
