Filextra aims to counter the “mid-face sink” |
INTERNATIONAL. GoodSkin Labs has unveiled a new anti-ageing moisturiser designed to counter what is known as the “mid-face sink”. Filextra Facial Revolumizing Treatment with Collagen will be available in selected travel retail doors from March.
Filextra is said to feature a potent cocktail of ingredients that delivers an immediate improvement to skin translucency and radiance, while stimulating the skin’s own natural collagen production over time with continued use. This helps to counter the “mid-face sink” – a sunken, hollowed look to the cheek and under eye area.
Filextra addresses this and the associated problem of sallow, thinning skin with GoodSkin Labs’ proprietary Glowcel technology. This is described as a combination of tone correctors and optical diffusers that provide an instant healthy looking glow, diminishing the appearance of hollows and deep sunken contours.
Filextra also works to boost the skin’s natural collagen production, to help it create a supportive, stable structure. The formula is said to rebuild, refill and revolumise.
According to the brand, clinical and sensory studies demonstrate that after eight weeks of regular use:
– 91% of subjects demonstrated a significant improvement in the look of firmness in the eye area
– 73% of subjects demonstrated a significant improvement in the look of firmness in the jowls
– 86% of subjects demonstrated a significant improvement in the look of skin’s texture
