Grace brings royalty-inspired handmade jewellery to travel retail

Turkey-based jewellery company Grace exhibited for the first time at last month’s TFWA Asia Pacific show, where it highlighted its handmade collections.

Grace’s jewellery draws inspiration from the Byzantine empresses and emperors and the Ottoman sultans who reigned in ancient Istanbul, combined with the contemporary culture of today. Handmade by master artisans, the majority of Grace’s pieces are plated in sterling silver, gold or rose gold and are decorated with premium gemstones.

The brand’s main ranges are Sultan’s Dream, Lucky Days and Daily. All three comprise necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings.

Grace’s jewellery is influenced by the variety of civilisations who reigned in Istanbul

Founded in 1920, Grace Jewellery is present in Europe and Asia in duty free and inflight, as well as high-end retail stores such as Harvey Nichols and Beymen in Turkey.

Grace Jewellery is currently available with ATÜ Duty Free at Istanbul, Izmir, Ankara and Antalya airports in Turkey, as well as Skopje and Ohrid airports in Macedonia and Tbilisi Airport in Georgia. Airline partners include Gulf Air, Pegasus, Malaysia Airlines and MIAT Air Mongolia.

Speaking to The Moodie Report after the TFWA Asia Pacific exhibition, Grace Jewellery’s Duygu Icil revealed that the brand received a good response from customers during the show and has taken order requests from several duty free retailers. The company has earmarked Europe, the Middle East and Asia as key areas for growth in travel retail.
