FRANCE. Groupe ADP, one of the world’s leading airport companies, served 17.8 million passengers in July, or 49.7% of the figure in July 2019. The numbers include traffic across the Paris airports network, along with TAV Airports and GMR Airports.
The major Paris airports handled 5.1 million passengers in the month, the highest figure since March 2020, or 48% of 2019 volumes.
Paris Charles de Gaulle welcomed 3.1 million passengers, 41.1% of the July 2019 figure, and Paris Orly 2 million passengers or 64.6% of the July 2019 traffic level.
At Paris Charles de Gaulle, terminals 2A, 2B, 2D, 2E and 2F are currently open. At Paris Orly, all areas are open with the exception of boarding gates B at Orly 1.

Across Groupe ADP’s international airports, the Hajj Terminal in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and Nosy Be Airport in Madagascar are closed. All other airports are open to commercial flights, though some local restrictions apply, especially to international flights.
Since the beginning of the year, Groupe ADP total traffic is down by -8.6% compared to 2020, at 66.6 million passengers. This equates to 33.2% of the group traffic during the same period in 2019. Paris Aéroport traffic for the first seven months is down by -28.8% at 15.8 million passengers, or 25.1% of the figure during this period in 2019.
Passenger traffic at TAV Airports, 46.4%-owned by Groupe ADP, reached 8.1 million in July, or 66.4% of 2019 levels. Year to date TAV Airports has posted a rise of +51.3% compared to 2020.
Passenger traffic at Santiago de Chile Airport, 45%-owned by Groupe ADP, reached 34.7% of 2019 levels in July, at 758,564.
At Amman International Airport, 51%-owned by Groupe ADP, traffic numbers have reached 64.8% of July 2019 volumes at 621,501.
Passenger traffic at GMR Airports, 49%-owned by Groupe ADP since July 2020, hit 3.2 million passengers, and was 36.3% of July 2019 traffic levels. GMR traffic is down by -10.2% since the beginning of the year compared to the first seven months of 2020.
