FRANCE. Guerlain has unveiled its new season, limited-edition cosmetics collection. The products will begin rolling out in France from October.
Fairy Winter is the make-up theme. Accordingly, the products combine winter white, frosted colours and iridescent shimmering shades of pink, silver and gold, “to awaken the snow princess within”, according to Guerlain.
Two new Météorites products feature. Winter Radiance Météorites Powder Balls (€38) combines six “balls” in shades of white, pearl, frosted blue, Champagne, cool pink and icy mauve. They are presented in a new interpretation of the signature Météorites case, in a colour-scheme said to have been inspired by the different reflections of light on snow.
Winter Radiance Météorites is also available in a pressed powder form, housed in a portable, travel-friendly compact. Winter Radiance Météorites Voyage will be priced domestically at €125.
Other powder offerings include Divinora Fairy White All-Over Powder (€43). Described as a transparent pearly powder incorporating a glittery, hologram effect, this is said to brighten skin with a luminous glimmer.
And there is a new Terracotta product, Winter Glow 20 Multi-Effect Bronzing Powder (€36). For this execution, Terracotta shade 20 has been inlaid with a flake of frosted white, designed to remain intact throughout use.
It is said to recreate the warm glow after a day of winter sunshine, set off by a glitter of frost. It is presented in a new, colourful version of the original Terracotta case.
For the eyes, Guerlain has created Divinora Fairy Mascara (€25) – a translucent gel infused with multicoloured, hologram particles, designed to look like liquid crystals.
The mascara is presented in a hammered silver cylinder, complete with a threaded wand applicator.
The other Fairy Winter eye product is Divinora Iridescent Loose Powder for the Eyes (€24). This is a pearl concentrate that delivers a soft, jewelled effect to eyes and also other parts of the body.
It is available in three shades – Fairy Gold, Fairy Silver and Fairy Pink – and is presented in a transparent pot topped with a silver-coloured lid.
For lips, Guerlain has extended its KissKiss lipstick line with three new shades, namely gold, silver and pink frost.
There are also three new Divinora Duo Gloss compacts (€32), and three new Divinora Colour and Shine lipsticks (€22.50), both in shades of Fairy Gold, Fairy Silver and Fairy Pink (€32).
