Gulf Air unveils ‘fresh and exciting’ inflight selection – 19/02/06

BAHRAIN. The latest inflight duty free brochure from Gulf Air concessionaire Aer Rianta International-Middle East (ARI-ME) and Bahrain Duty Free has been launched. It offers what ARI-ME describes as a “fresh and exciting approach” to travel retail.

The new magazine offers many innovations in both presentation and product portfolio, “reflecting an ability to adapt and evolve with changing environments and lifestyles” the concessionaire said.

It offers 127 products with 13 regional exclusives. Consumer technology is represented by the latest innovation from Akita – a compact solar power charger compatible with 133 mobile phone models.

Children can be entertained with the Gamze compact games while parents can relax with lounge music from Buddha Bar VII.

A range of the latest fragrances has been introduced, including references from Hermès, Chanel, Parfums Christian Dior, YSL, DKYN, Jean Paul Gaultier and Agent Provocateur. The travel accessory category has also been enhanced.

A strong emphasis has been placed on the presentation of the magazine and by featuring the latest fragrance from Elizabeth Arden – After 5 – on the cover it has achieved strong impact, ARI-ME said.

The magazine focuses on “˜value-added benefit’ by presenting passengers not only with many new offers but also more choice. For example, passengers will now receive a free gift with the purchase of any two Revlon products. And following the recent success of a Swiss watch competition, the latest issue invites passengers to take part in the Hot Diamonds competition by simply spending US$100 or more. Passengers have the chance to win a Hot Diamonds pendant & earring set from the “˜just add love’ collection.

With Bahrain playing host to the third Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix in March, Gulf Air is confident of another successful year capitalising on its strong regional presence and continued commitment to providing a quality service and ongoing growth.
