Guylian set to introduce new flavours and designs at IAADFS show

The Luxury Assortment Opus underlines Guylian’s “creativity”, says the company

Guylian will present new flavours for its Seahorse range and introduce new designs for its Opus chocolates during the IAADFS Duty Free Show of the Americas in Orlando next week (stand number: 1309).

Its Luxury Assortment Opus is, according to the Belgian chocolatier, “the pinnacle of Guylian’s creativity”. For 2014 it has added three new flavours – Crunchy Biscuit, Caramel and Pear Mango Ganache – and introduced new designs which aim to “bring life” to the operas that inspired the brand’s chocolates. Designs include the milk chocolate mask of the Phantom of the Opera on a white praline and the half-moon honouring Beethoven’s moonlight Sonata.

The praline assortment is available in a square box (180g – six flavours) and in the redesigned ballotin (180g – eight flavours), which presents the chocolates over two layers and is finished with a golden ribbon. Details of the chocolates and their fillings are shown on the side of the box and in a small booklet.

Guylian has added four new flavours – Caramel, Crunchy Biscuit, Vanilla and Milk Truffle- to its popular Original Praliné Sea Horse. Looking to offer “a new taste experience” its Guylian Caramel combines caramel with milk chocolate; Crunchy Biscuit combines a soft filling with a hint of vanilla with crisp cookie in a marbled praline; Vanilla offers white and milk chocolate filled with vanilla cream and the Milk Truffle combines milk chocolate with the truffle filling.

Guylian’s No Sugar Added bars come in updated wrapping. The 100g bars are made with Maltitol, described as a natural product with fewer calories than sugar, and are available in two flavours: pure with 54% Cocoa and milk chocolate.
