Haleybrooke International (HI) has reached an agreement with Red Eye Louie’s Vodquila to help build the brand’s presence in worldwide travel retail.
Vodquila, a blend of vodka and tequila, was created in 2011 when Co-Founder Nina Arora had a school project where she needed to come up with a new marketable product. She created the initial product at home and tested it first with her father and brother. The three decided they had a marketable product and further developed the recipe and packaging.

Vodquila uses vodka made from multiple grains and is distilled six times. Its tequila is based on blue agave plants and distilled in the Jalisco highlands in Mexico.
Haleybrooke International President Patrick Nilson said: “I’m proud to represent this unique beverage. The combination of the two liquors is creative and exciting, the packaging is inventive and eye catching, and the taste has a smooth and superior quality. I’m very confident Vodquila will do extremely well in travel retail.”
Haleybrooke International Vice President Roger Thompson added: “I am looking forward to bringing this fun and exciting product to my duty free customers. The reviews have been outstanding for both the flavour and packaging.”
Red Eye Louie’s Vodquila will be priced at US$29 for a one-litre bottle in duty free.
Red Eye Louie’s Vodquila Owner Chander Arora said the brand was looking forward to working with HI and moving into the duty free market. “Vodquila has achieved so much success on a national level that my company agreed it was time to venture into unexplored territory and share our product with the duty free consumer.
“Patrick Nilson and Roger Thompson are great guys and have decades of experience working in the travel retail field. I decided to work with them because they have a vast network of ‘who’s who’ in duty free and will be able to bring my product to the important buyers in the field.”
