US. Multi-pocketed handbags – “the embodiment of function and form” – and leathergoods such as decorated wallets and key chains will be the main showcase for Liz Claiborne at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes this October.
The range is aimed at complementing Liz Claiborne’s travel retail jewellery collection.
Travel Retail Director Michael Coleman said: “We have been thrilled with the response to Liz Claiborne jewellery collections by the travel retail market and are confident that the handbags and small leathergoods range will prove equally popular. We tentatively showed some Liz Claiborne handbags and small leathergoods back in March at the Orlando show and the response was really encouraging.”
The materials on show “range from the practical to the novel, from classic crocodile leather to fashionable textiles including tweed and printed jacquard with crocodile trim”.
Liz Claiborne is proposing vibrant colours such as lavender, berry, rose and green, as well as the more sombre black for the autumn/winter season.
Travel retail prices start from US$20 for wallets and US$29 for small handbags.
Liz Claiborne will be exhibiting at Green Village K52.
