Hanse Distribution is partnering with WHSmith to offer Doppler umbrellas in over 30 airport stores across Europe.
Doppler was founded in Austria in 1946 and offers a range of umbrellas to suit all weather conditions. The brand’s products are, according to Hanse Distribution, inflight bestsellers.
The lightweight Doppler Zero,99 model will be featured in over 30 WHSmith European airport stores. The umbrella weighs 100g, is wind resistant and designed to fit in pockets and bags.
Hanse Distribution said two further listings for Doppler and UK brand Pokito are in the pipeline.
The Pokito line was highlighted at this year’s TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition in Singapore. Its collapsible silicone/plastic cup offers three drinking options and scrunches down to a small, closed size. It is available in six ‘flavours’ including lime, pumpkin, sky blue, blueberry, blackberry and raspberry.
