Harrods set for Changi debut through King Power; retailer also secures La Perla boutique

SINGAPORE. King Power International, a subsidiary of the Antares Cheng-run King Power Group Hong Kong, has been awarded three major concessions at Singapore Changi Airport, including a Changi debut for the famous Harrods retail brand.

King Power will open two stores under the Harrods name, a brand synonymous with the famous Knightsbridge, London department store. The stores will be located in Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, respectively.

Besides its flagship London store, Harrods also has a select number of successful travel retail outlets, for example at London Heathrow Airport Terminal 5.

Its arrival at Singapore Changi Airport represents a major coup for the brand as well as for its partner King Power and for Changi Airport Group.

King Power will also open a La Perla boutique at Changi T2, its second store for the upscale lingerie-to-swimwear brand at the airport. The other is in the new Terminal 3.

As reported, the retailer also recently opened a La Perla store at Hong Kong International Airport.

King Power Duty Free and Travel Retail Managing Director Sunil Tuli said: “We are pleased to have secured these two important concessions, and are very excited about our new partnership with Harrods.
