Confectionery brand Hawaiian Host has unveiled a limited-edition Chinese New Year Tin for its chocolate-covered macadamias and crisp rice.
The tin holds two festive red and gold 6oz MacNut Crunch boxes decorated with animals from the Chinese Zodiac.
It is being sold exclusively until the end of Chinese New Year in February at four outlets in high-speed railway stations and 48 outlets within 19 Chinese airports, including Guangzhou Baiyun, Chengdu Shuangliu, Xi’an Xianyang, Beijing Capital, Qingdao Liuting and Shenzhen Bao’an.
Hawaiian Host Director of Sales Asia Pacific Earl Kurisu said: “We are excited to be celebrating the Year of the Sheep with this unique gifting opportunity. Gifting is a very important part of the Chinese New Year traditions, and we anticipate that this gift tin will make an excellent commemoration of Chinese New Year 2015.”
