US. Next week’s IAADFS show in Fort Lauderdale will witness the launch of Kona Caramacs from Hawaiian Host, a new range of coffee-flavoured chocolates for travel retailers across the Americas (Booth 2037 – Chase International).
Developed as an addition to its existing Maui Caramacs line, Kona Coffee Caramel and Macadamias are covered in milk chocolate and are available immediately to travel retailers in a 142g (5oz) box containing 10 pieces.
Kona Caramacs feature dry-roasted macadamia nuts covered in caramel and milk chocolate mixed with a Kona coffee blend.
Hawaiian Host Sales’ Cindy Kuranushi said: “They were initially launched to the North America market at the Frontier Duty Free Show in Montreal and we’re now pleased to show them to buyers from the rest of the Americas and beyond. The combination now with the Kona coffee blend is already proving to be a big hit with both chocolate and coffee lovers.”
The brand’s macadamia-based products include Tiki, Jewel Collection, White Chocolate range and Vacation America selection.
Hawaiian Host products are extensively listed throughout airports and border shops in the US and Canada, added Kuranushi. Locations include New York JFK, New York Newark, Tampa, Atlanta, Washington DC, Denver, Las Vegas, Detroit and Quebec.
