CANADA. HMSHost has launched a social media photo contest to mark the grand opening of Boston Pizza at Edmonton International Airport.

The first ever Boston Pizza airport location, the outlet has been operating since mid-December.

Boston Pizza Chairman and Owner Jim Treliving, star of the Canadian version of Dragons’ Den, joined HMSHost Vice President of Business Development Kent Vanden Oever and Edmonton International Airport President and CEO Tom Ruth to slice the ceremonial first pizza. It was shaped in a heart to mark St Valentine’s Day.

HMSHost’s photo contest is running throughout February. Diners can share a photo of themselves on social media using #BostonPizzaEIA to be in the running to win a weekly C$50 (US$37.50) Boston Pizza or Visa gift card.
