INTERNATIONAL. Gebr Heinemann has partnered with Etihad Guest to offer members of the Etihad Airways loyalty scheme rewards for shopping at Heinemann Duty Free stores.
Etihad Guest Miles can be collected at Heinemann stores in Europe, Australia, Indonesia and Singapore, with one mile for every euro spent. Shoppers can present their Etihad Guest card in-store when paying for goods to have their balance updated.
Gebr Heinemann Marketing Director Markus Ettlin said: “Etihad Airways is one of the fastest growing airlines today and this collaboration enables us to reach out to new and international customer groups, who are now provided with greater flexibility and choice when purchasing duty free goods when they travel.”
Etihad Guest Managing Director Yasser Al Yousef added: “Etihad Guest prides itself on offering its members one of the most comprehensive travel benefits propositions in the industry. Thanks to its wide product range, our partnership with Heinemann Duty Free provides our members with access to more opportunities to earn Etihad Guest Miles whenever they travel.”
Miles are not awarded for books, newspapers, magazines, products with a returnable deposit or revenue-stamped tobacco goods.
