AUSTRIA. Heinemann Austria has been awarded a new duty-free contract at Graz Airport. It extends a partnership that has been running since 2005.

The retailer noted the 420sq m Heinemann Duty Free/Travel Value store has recently been strengthened with a ‘Styrian market’, promoting products including wine originating in Styria, the mountainous, forested state in southern Austria which includes the city of Graz.

Heinemann Austria said: “The addition of the regional Styrian market area has met with a great response, which is why an even greater focus will be placed on regionality in the future, so that travellers at Graz Airport can take a piece of Austria or Styria with them to their destination country.”
Heinemann Austria Managing Director Roman Koch commented: “We are delighted that we will be continuing our long-standing, trusting partnership with Graz Airport. We have grown together since 2005 and have stood together in challenging times. We will continue to be a valuable travel companion for passengers at Graz Airport and excite them with our assortment and our impressive employees.”
Graz Airport Managing Director Jürgen Löschnig said: “Over the past 20 years, Heinemann and its motivated team have continued to develop the store with great commitment. I am therefore delighted that we can continue this collaboration.” ✈
