FRANCE. Helena Rubinstein has updated its Spectacular mascara, launched in 1994, with a new lengthening version, called Spectacular Extension Mascara.

It will be available in European travel retail from September, before rolling out to the Americas in October. The recommended domestic price point is €29.60. Two shades are available: black and brown.
The product was inspired by the latest hair care research, and is claimed to be the first two-in-one lengthening mascara that combines both a fortifying and visible make-up effect.
The mascara helps extend lashes with high-definition precision, according to the brand, while protecting them from loss and damage, particularly during make-up removal. As a result lashes are visibly longer, fuller and stronger.
The formula contains a Life Force Complex, enriched with Arginine, which is known to improve the micro-circulation and helps re-densify lashes, Rubinstein maintains. Another key ingredient is Centella asiatica extract, which is used in anti-hair loss products.
