FRANCE. Helena Rubinstein has secured its first listings onboard major Latin American airlines.

Prodigy cream, the flagship product of the Helena Rubinstein brand, will appear in the Mexicana inflight shopping catalogue of October 2004, and will retail at US$119.

Mexicana Airlines transports nearly 9 million passengers per year. Its network now includes 32 cities in Mexico, eight in the US, two in Canada, three in Central America, five in South America and one in the Caribbean. As part of the Star Alliance, Mexicana offers products and services encompassing 800 destinations.

Force C cream, the top-selling Helena Rubinstein product in South American airports, will be listed in the November 2004 issue of Varig’s inflight catalogue. It will retail at US$47.

The product will have a full dedicated advertising page onboard Varig, the largest South American carrier. The Brazilian airline flies to 24 international destinations.

The two breakthrough listings come on top of 27 airline listings in Asia and Europe. “Helena Rubinstein is a rising star in the airlines business worldwide,” said the company.
