SPAIN/FRANCE. Henkell Freixenet, the sparkling wine, wines & spirits division of Geschwister Oetker Beteiligungen, is to celebrate Cordón Negro’s 50th anniversary with an activation at Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport in partnership with Avolta.

The animation, running throughout November and December in Terminal 1, combines physical and digital elements to enhance consumer experience.
The 17sq m space will highlight the refreshed packaging for Freixenet Cordón Negro, which will be available at Avolta shops.
The updated core label design reflects the brand’s quality and craftsmanship, featuring signature brand cues and the new brand logo.

Henkell Freixenet is also preparing to showcase its expanded range and product innovations at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes on 29 September to 2 October (Blue Village, F11).
Building on a strong first half of the year, the sparkling wine brand is doubling down on the Prosecco category and driving growth by focusing on premiumisation as its global travel retail portfolio expands.
The company continues to highlight Europe as the strongest region for the channel with this year’s growth driven by a focus on Mionetto and Freixenet as key brands.
As one of the most popular brands in its global travel retail portfolio, Mionetto is highlighted for its strong growth prospects in the Americas (USA & Canada) and APAC, where Prosecco holds a strong presence in the sparkling wine category.
In line with a growing consumer trend towards premiumisation, Henkell Freixenet is strategically focusing on its premium portfolio, including Segura Viudas Cavas and the recently launched Freixenet French Sparkling range – two sparkling wine quality products, offered in attractive packaging and at a competitive price.

“A new era of sophistication” with French sparkling wines
As reported, Henkell Freixenet has extended its sparkling wine portfolio with Brut Royal and Rosé Royal.
Blending Freixenet’s Mediterranean flair with French elegance, the wines are presented in what is described as elegant haute couture-inspired packaging.
Brut Royal and Rosé Royal use high-quality grapes and offer a crisp flavour, featuring high aromatic intensity with stone and tropical fruits combined with notes of orange blossom and wildflowers.
New Mionetto Aperitivo range
Prosecco brand Mionetto has extended its Aperitivo range with Mionetto Aperitivo and Mionetto Aperitivo Alcohol Free.
Mionetto Aperitivo features a combination of the fresh and fruity aromas of Mionetto Prosecco with the flavours of a Venetian spritz. Made from a special recipe with a distinctive flavour profile and a bittersweet taste, it captures the full essence of a perfect spritz, the company said.
Mionetto Aperitivo offers 100% natural flavours, created from a special blend of citrus and premium botanicals.

Segura Viudas – vintage Cavas & homemade wines
Cava house Segura Viudas has added Brut Vintage and Rosé Vintage to its premium collection.
The wines are presented in sleek bottles inspired by the brand’s signature Segura Viudas Reserva Heredad Cava.
Brut Vintage features a blend of oak-aged Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Macabeo and Parellada, aged for a minimum of nine months. Crafted from high-quality Pinot Noir and Garnatxa grapes, the Rosé Vintage undergoes a minimum nine-month ageing process, resulting in a luscious flavour profile with a hint of spice and a fresh, elegant finish. ✈
