GERMANY. Moët Hennessy Travel Retail has partnered with Frankfurt Airport Retail (FAR) – the joint venture between Gebr. Heinemann and airport company Fraport – to pre-launch the Hennessy NBA (National Basketball Association) Season 4 activation at Frankfurt Airport.
The vibrant animation showcases a limited-edition NBA bottle of Hennessy V.S.O.P Season 4 which features red trophy-inspired packaging.
The activation, launched in collaboration with the NBA, celebrates the sporting spirit of basketball and basketball culture both on and off the court.
The animation is designed to attract the next generation of Cognac drinkers, and is targeted at basketball fans in Germany. It is designed following Hennessy’s mantra ‘Game Never Stops’.
The Hennessy NBA Season 4 activation experience is divided into four phases. A dynamic Hennessy playlist immerses travellers into the world of Hennessy x NBA as soon as they step into the animation. Travellers can then take photos and show off their basketball skills at the Hennessy basket dunk photo zone.
Afterwards, travellers are invited to take a seat at the bar and enjoy a tasting session of Hennessy V.S.O.P
To drive conversion, a golden ticket has been hidden in a Hennessy X.O gift box, which gives the lucky buyer a chance to win two tickets to the NBA Paris Game 2024, taking place in January.
In addition, customers who purchase two Hennessy X.O bottles will receive exclusive NBA Season 4 basketball as a gift with purchase.
To extend the experience beyond the airport, travellers can download the Hennessy playlist as a souvenir of their visit to the pop-up.
The Hennessy NBA activation has been popping up all over the world with previous editions in Dubai International Airport with Dubai Duty Free and and Istanbul Airport with Unifree and Gebr. Heinemann. ✈
