Hennessy x NBA celebrate the spirit of basketball in Hong Kong

Spirit of the game: Hennesy and NBA have been partnering for four consecutive basketball seasons
Hennessy is planning to showcase the expression with a pop-up campaign in Hong Kong and Macau in June

HONG KONG, CHINA. Cognac house Hennessy, part of LVMH Group, has once again partnered with the National Basketball Association (NBA) for a fourth season.

As the official spirit of the NBA, Hennessy has released a vibrant Hennessy V.S.O.P NBA S4 Limited Edition expression.

It is now exclusively available with selected retailers in Hong Kong ahead of the first round of the 2024 NBA playoffs in early April.

The newly launched product will also go into selected travel retail locations in Hong Kong and Macau.

The collaboration celebrates the spirit of basketball both on and off the court, with the Cognac expression taking inspiration from the colours, architecture and materials of the game.

The packaging features a rich red hue, while the gift box takes design cues from the basketball leather itself.

For a minimum purchase of HK$1,500 (US$191) worth of Hennessy products, customers receive the 2024 edition of the Hennessy x NBA silver basketball.

With any purchase of the Hennessy x NBA limited-edition bottle, customers will receive a set of exclusive Hennessy x NBA coasters.

Hennessy has also partnered with fashion brand Mitchell & Ness to create a colourful, basketball-inspired streetwear collection.

The range features jackets, jerseys, shorts, caps and fanny packs in striking black and lime-yellow colourways.

American basketball player Lebron James, part of the Los Angeles Lakers basketball team and known as one of the greatest players of his generation, was spotted wearing a varsity jacket from the limited-edition Hennessy x Mitchell & Ness collaboration.

The full collection is set to be launched at selected Hong Kong stores in May and will be available while stocks last.

Following the launch, the Hennessy x NBA collaboration will be promoted via a pop-up from 6 June to 4 July in Macau. ✈
