HONG KONG. Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) has teamed up with the territory’s Disneyland Resort to launch a summer promotions package designed to encourage tourism to the Lantau region.
From 14 July to 31 August travellers to Hong Kong can purchase the “˜Unlimited Summer Fun Package’, offering a variety of entertainment and shopping options for tourists both at the airport and at the Disneyland resort.
Adult tickets are priced at HK$399 (US$51) and child (aged 3-11) tickets at HK$299 (US$38) and are redeemable until 15 September.
The pass includes a one-day ticket to Disneyland; entry to a choice of entertainment zones at HKIA (Asia Hollywood, i-Sports or 4D Extreme Screen Cinema); a HK$20 cash coupon for use at the airport; a HK$50 discount for an adult dinner buffet at the Enchanted Garden Restaurant or Chef Mickey at Disneyland (valid until 31 August); and a HK$30 discount on a purchase of HK$350 at retail outlet The Magic of Hong Kong Disneyland at HKIA Terminal 2.
Airport Authority Hong Kong General Manager of Retail and Advertising Albert Yau said: “Hong Kong International Airport is an important gateway for travellers to connect to the world. Through close cooperation with the tourism industry, we have been promoting the development of Hong Kong’s tourism in Lantau Island.
“In joining hands with Hong Kong Disneyland we are offering locals and tourists around the world a special package for their leisure enjoyment at two of the most popular attractions on the island. This will help reinforce Lantau’s position as a preferred travel destination.”
