HMSHost International captures six-outlet F&B contract at Bali Ngurah Rai Airport

INDONESIA. Autogrill division HMSHost International is set to extend its footprint at Bali I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport after winning a six-outlet food & beverage concession in Phase Two of a tender process run by airport company Angkasa Pura I. The stores span International and Domestic Departures and Arrivals.

The contract is valued at €34.4 million over the term, which runs for six years, including a basic five-year period plus one recovery year. In May, HMSHost International was awarded five stores as part of Phase One.

HMSHost Asia Pacific Regional Managing Director David Mackay said: “Continuing our development in Bali Airport, we are extremely excited to announce that we will be opening more F&B ventures with the addition of six new stores. Since our entry in 2013, we have established ourselves as the main F&B operator across the International Terminal and have enjoyed a strong collaboration with Angkasa Pura I along the way.

“We are proud to bring global favourite brands to the airport and these include Pizza Hut (two locations), much loved by the Indonesian passengers, alongside rapidly growing Aussie-style café, The Coffee Club. HMSHost is proud to continue bringing memorable F&B experiences to the Bali International passengers.”

Angkasa Pura I President Director Faik Fahmi said: “We appreciate HMSHost International’s strong will and commitment to keep continuing the business project at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Bali Airport despite the fact that we are in the midst of a passenger traffic decline due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We believe that international passenger traffic will bounce back as soon as the international border is open again.”

High Tide Bar aims to evoke the spirit of Bali for departing passengers
